"ON MY WAY"
BOOK COVER
We were inspired by our event to
create a special object called "FRICO". Our events are both related
to identity, decisions, our future and the correct path we should take in our
lives. We decided to create a special item that can charge a cellphone while a
person is riding its bike. It works with the friction and movement of the
bicycle´s wheels. The best of all is that it´s eco friendly, and it saves
energy. We made a prototype to show how the final product will look like. We
used Bristol paper, thread, paint, tape and the glue gun to create it. The real
product will be made of plastic on the outside part and some pieces made of
foam because they are resistant products to any climate. It will also include a
cable that will be connected from the device to the bicycle's wheel. Inside the
plastic shape, it will contain all the electronic pieces that it needs to
function.
We decide to create this object
because we were thinking of something that was usefully for daily life, and
that was related to our event. We thought this would be a great idea because
people can use Google maps in their cellphones so they don´t get lost, and at
the same time they don’t need to waste their cellphone´s energy. The idea came
out of the words future, path and confusion.
